Short-term contract options

Have just moved into a house and looking for broadband options. The thing is that we're only going to be there for 4 months and most of the mobile broadband options seem to be 12 month contracts and buying the modem etc. seems to be the most expensive part of it all.

There's 3 people in the house and we'd all need to be able to use the wireless at the same time. There's also a UPC box installed so that's an option too. Just wondering if anyone knows of any inexpensive offers that might suit us?

I would say not. 12 months is the standard contract on any broadband or bill-pay mid-band service, inlcuding UPC. The only thing that you can get without a contract would be pre-pay 3G. This is not really that suited to sharing by 3 people though, due to congestion slowing things down and the low cap you get.

    Magnet
do a contract free broadband service on the phone line, but it will have very limited availability.
