Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i recently moved to HK and i have started taking a lot of street photos, just covering what i see and do. here is a link to the tumblr when i post them, it would be great if some people on here would be able to let me know what they think of them. i am using a canon 5d with a 50mm 1.8mkII and a 20mm 2.8.

Some nice work, don't make everyone click into your tumblr though. Post a few photos here and if people like it they'll keep looking.

    Some great photos.
I lived on lamma island for a few months. Try get out to the smaller islands and up to plover cove reservoir.
If you've not done Victoria peak at sunset ,its a must.

Nice photos. Even though I'm a fan of b/w, I think a few of them could have benefited from being in colour.

i do have a few colour shots which i will post up, its seems like im going through a b&w phase at the moment. everything just looks better to me in black and white even though this place is so colourful. its sunday night here so i am trying (and failing) to get some work done for tomorrow. i need to get off boards for a bit but i will stick some of my older ones up later.

Some ok shots there. But I think when people think Hong Kong, they think neon wilderness, overcrowded urban metropolis decorated in the old and the new, interesting characters in colourful avenues. I'd say drop the black and white and even the panorama and hit the streets at 35-50mm. Christ I wish I was there!! :(

_sparkie_, try posting the shots with the BB code. Just put [img][/img] tags around the "http.....img" bit. Like the below

^ Thats the only one I looked at. Didn't grab my attention so didn't look at any more. If they had of been posted with [img][/img] tags I would probably have looked at them all
