o2 iphone 4s upgrade for another person?

My mother is on a silver package on o2 and was quoted 199 for a upgrade to a iphone 16g 4s,

I was wondering if she did this and gave the phone to me would it work? im on pre pay 02?

It should work! All you'll need to do is get a micro sim card from
O2 and probably add a package to your prepay plan to include data because it will cost you a fortune otherwise.

Ya, it will work.

It's €9.99 every 30 days for 700mb of data.

As O2 do free unlocks for contract customers, you can get an unlocked iPhone to be used on any network!

Your mother will have to take on a smartphone priceplan for 18 months (even if she gives you the phone) so don't forget to take this cost into account.

Its actually 219 on a silver upgrade for a 16gb iphone 4s and she will need to change her plan as O2 has brought out new ones and it is a requirement of upgrading.

She'd need to sign up to a smartphone plan unless she's already on one. She can remain on current one in that case.
