    Freeze The Atlantic

Formed in Autumn 2008 by Andy Gilmour of Hundred Reasons, and Jon Pearce and Guy Davis of Reuben. Freeze the Atlantic started out as most bands do, just to enjoy playing music in a room together again. Jon And Guy had just come from the break up of their band Reuben and Andy was keen to work with them as they had known each other (as well as toured together) for years. They quickly realised that another guitarist would be a wise addition, to which Andy got straight on the phone to another long time friend Tom Stevens (Archie and the Instincts) to see if he was interested and 3 soon became 4.

After rehearsing together and writing a set of brand new material, they felt it was time to search for someone to take the vocal spot. After a brief spell with Cambridge singer Daniel Flay they found themselves on the road supporting Welsh rockers Attack! Attack! As Daniel was no longer with the band by that point, their good friend Liv Puente (from Sheffield's Laruso) jumped in to provide vocals and the band really found their sound through a fantastic two week UK tour.

At the same time, a full time vocalist was found in the shape of Northampton lad Chris J Knott (formerly of Twelve Titans).

Late Autumn 2011 saw the departure of Jon Pearce for pastures new and the welcoming of Sean Shreeve to the fold.

The forthcoming Debut Album is expected early 2012
