The metal was quenched in the sweat of LeMond and the resin was hardened with the bile of Coppi.

    "no money no test drive"

I'd be well afraid to test drive that, the rim looks bent, the shifter shafted inwards and the quick release is open!

Maybe I'm showing my ignorance, but do those brakes callipers not look completely out of place somehow?

Well... the NRS 3 is one of the best MTBs Giant ever made. This one looks its age though.

It's actually "Powefull" as opposed to "powerful". Big difference, Batman style bam pow, kapow

It's a bit expensive alright but it's not the worst offender. Bit of work tidying it up and it'd be alright

I've deleted a few posts as the linked ad has been removed. Also some of the comments could be interpeted as negative towards certain identifiable shops. Please take care and avoid posting such stuff

    Thanks

Oh dear god this is insanely over priced...

I'm now half tempted to list my tricross, same year and model, on adverts and see how much Interest I get at that price point...
Can't believe your man actually offered 600.

And what in the name of jaysus has he done to the paint?!?!

I've tried to get more information about the bike. He doesn't know the size and when I asked "What height are you and is it a maybe little too big/little too small for you?" he just replied "It's small for me.."

He has four bikes for sale and decent photos of the others. Can anyone tell what model/specs this might have? I don't see the bent rim but the brakes look off, alright.
The bike is not very old 2010-11, no crash. Runnig perfect. I don't have any receipt. I do myself service because I know the shop-service is very expensive.

Yep just as black as a carbon bike apparently and twice as expensive.
I was gonna ask where he bought the bike for that much but I decided to leave the comments section deservedly blank
Just noticed that the link that he posted has the same spec bike brand new at €1399 too :-D

Time for a revival. 1k for fairly old Tiagra and Saracen aluminium anyone?

New one for about half price - http://www.rutlandcycling.com/300879/products/2015-saracen-tenet-1-road-bike-black-red.aspx

Haven't read the entire thread, but I don't suppose someone has already said "anything Italian"?

Its not hopeless though as someone will probably pay for it. For every overpriced italian frame their is a midlife crisis in Ireland or the UK to pay for it.
