For work, I only have to drive about 35 miles a week. I usually tack on about 50 on top of that for other stuff/recreation.

620km's to and from the office.

Getting 1,000 - 1,100 km per tank depending on stupid accidents at the M1 (Muppet) Merge.

Last fill was €101 for a full (67 litres in a 65 litre) tank.

About 650 km a week, most of it commuting, costing me about €70 a week, haven't really worked it out exactly, because it would depress me too much.
Motorists are just easy cash cows, government stuck for money?
Let's just hit those dumb schmucks for a few more quid and give them a kick up the arse whilst laughing at them.

    I wish, but I can't.
    Wanna buy my house?
And I can't find work closer to home, because Co Clare is now officially a housing estate and car park for Limerick and Galway, nothing more.
Other than farmer, civil servant, shopkeeper and a select few hundred who have an actual job there in one of the three remaining companies, there is nothing there.
Once commuting gets to expensive I'll have to get myself fired, sign on, sell the car, default on the mortgage and become as much of a burden to the state as I possibly can.
    How much will that cost?
And how many people besides me will default because of state greed and stupidity?
100000 mortgages could default, the banks will want that money from the state, the state gets it from, wait, everyone is unemployed, where will they get the money from?
Result: Ireland bust and no bailout possible.
Inevitable conclusion: any more budgets like the last and default is not just inevitable, but a foregone conclusion.
Because in Ireland you get punished for making money and tripped up all the time.

About 2000 km/week. I don't calculate what I spend in fuel. My daily goes on DCI.

I do about 40 mpg in the Touring, 33 mpg in the T4.

For work I would do approx 95 miles per week.

For social depends on where I am going, could be Ashbourne to Bray (62 miles return) or else Ashbourne to Bunclody (160 miles return)

My car only measures in FPG (Fun Per Gallon)....... Lots of of it :P:P:P:P

Only about 80 miles, cost around 25 euros

100-150miles mon-fri plus another maybe 50-100 miles at the weekend.

I'm getting about 475 miles/tank and to fill from bone dry (40 miles after the red warninglight comes on) costs 80 euro.

    Golf Mk4 TDI.

I'm currently doing 1,200 km weekly travelling to and from work. Probably a further 300 km of personal driving on top of that. This equates to about 6,500 km a month, currently costing me about €450 monthly.

My total costs per annum have soared though. €5,500 on Diesel, €700 on Tax, €600 on Insurance, €2,400 on Tolls and about €1,500 on maintenance. Total of about €10,000 per annum. And before you ask, public transport is not an option; the tolls if avoided will equate the same as the fuel I would be wasting using back roads and my car is doing up to 64MPG. Ireland's a fun country to be in!!

1200km/week (around 50-80 on non work runs)
    Diesel at 1.40 / liter

Spending around 320 / month on Fuel.

Motor Tax is costing me 104 / month.

Estimate servicing and repairs and ancillaries cost me around 800 / year.

2005 Volvo V50 2.0D, averaging 5.8L/100km (on the work runs)

I now do the 50 miles a day on bike. Saves about 10 euro every day I don't use the car. I tend to chicken out if the weather is against me.
