    ^haha! ya for good ('grammar') practice, adding 'ming zi' in the end can avoid confusion but it is totally fine when you speak that to anyone in mandarin (may be sound not too polite but is still common enough).

    I have been thinking to open a new chinese speaking thread so Alan if you would like to modify the OP with some more content I can sticky it :) (otherwise, forget it, we will make one in future)
