We can't see your basket.

What you can do is use Fluffy's script:
javascript:var before = 'Item|Price'; var after = '';var format='{itm_quantity}{itm_name}|{itm_price}';var debug = false;function loadScript( url ){if ( document.getElementById( "basket_parser" ) == null ){var script = document.createElement( "script" );script.setAttribute( "id", "basket_parser" );script.setAttribute( "type", "text/javascript" );script.setAttribute( "src", url + "?" + Math.pow( new Date().getMonth(), 2 ) + Math.pow( new Date().getDate(), 3 ) );document.getElementsByTagName( "head" )[0].appendChild( script );setTimeout( "loadScript('" + url + "')", 200 );log( "Started loading script: " + url );}else if ( typeof( init_script ) != 'undefined' ){log( "Loaded." );init_script();}else{setTimeout( "loadScript('" + url + "')", 200 );log( "loading ..." );}}function log( string ){if ( debug ){document.body.appendChild( document.createTextNode( string ) );document.body.appendChild( document.createElement( "br" ) );}}loadScript( "http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19453211/basket_parser.js" );void( 0 );
Copy all of that and paste it into your address bar when you're on your basket. A window should pop up with a load of text. Copy that and paste it here to have it nicely laid out in table format.

when you post a link to your shopping basket we can not see what you've got in it....only you can on your pc, try what monotype said. then we can help you

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,710 ✭✭✭Monotype

Still can't see that basket. The script doesn't work with custompc so you'd have to list the items yourself. I didn't realise that they did parts. I thought it was just pre-built machines (which usually aren't good).

Maybe you should fill out the questionnaire in my signature about how to ask for help.

not ordering from that site sorry thanks alot though

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,159 ✭✭✭daz801

Not to bad of a build although the gpu is a bit out of date and the psu is way to dear......spend about 30-40 less on psu and 30-40 more on gpu.

Heres a build from an irish site if you don't want to go with hwvs

    Item|Price
Total build cost: €712.91 (inc delivery Free!)
XIGMATEK Asgard III Case with Window|€36.64
OCZ Technology ZS Series 550W 80+ Bronze Power Supply|€57.60
    Hitachi 500GB TravelStar 5K750 SATA 3GB/s 5400RPM 8MB|€74.59
    XFX ATI Radeon 6870 900MHz 1GB PCI-Express HDMI|€159.27
Asus Intel Performance Bundle (Includes P8Z68-V LX Motherboard, Intel Core i5-2500K & 8GB DDR3)|€384.81

stick in a second one of them gpu's when you have the money and you would have an great gaming rig. Alternatively you could wait for a while before buying a gpu (use on board graphics) and wait for current amd graphics cards prices to drop as the rest of the 7xxx series is released or even buy one of them.

You should, custompc are a total rip off. If you give a budget we could make you a much better build.

    what about vat and such

Its in the EU, so no VAT just €30 shipping. You'll easily save a lot more than that.

Germany have a lower rate of Vat than here. 13% as opposed to our 23% so it makes them much cheaper, so yes you're paying VAT but you're paying German vat and you don't get hit by customs and import taxes since it's all within the EU.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking?

    8. How can you pay?

Wait if you're building it in the summer come back then. A lot will change by that point and we'll then be recommending hardware that isn't even out yet.

That couldn't play any games, it's got a 7450, its probably worse than intel hd integrated graphics, although they are quite good for what they are.

7450 is pretty much a 6450 and not as bad as Intel's integrated graphics but I agree, certainly not gaming suitable.

If it's the Summer that you want the PC, definitely wait. There'll be new CPUs and graphics cards as well as cheaper hard drives which will completely change the core of a system that you'd be looking at now.

VAT in Germany is 19% and is included in the prices on the site. You don't have to pay import VAT and duties. The same for any EU country, such as the UK. If you were ordering from the USA, you'd be paying import taxes.
Hardwareversand charge fixed postage at €30 and will build for €20. You do need to order with bank transfer with them as credit cards aren't as popular in Germany. If ordering with credit card is essential, www.scan.co.uk are a good choice.
