film seeks locations

    I'm Seeking film locations around longford, West Meath, Lietrim, Roscommon...midlands

    The film is titled "Down by the Water" and it is a haunted tale about a family who moves from London to Rural Ireland.

    The shoot is during the summer and the Director is seeking a few different places for scenes....The more isolated the better!

    1. Old house with over grown fields surrounding it: eg old cottage/abandoned

    2. house ruin with woodland/ fields - the more overgrown the better

    3. A few fields that have been left to grow naturally

    4. A stream or river setting that has an old mill or derelict site

    5. Bog land that has not been machine cut or used in a long time

    6. Hilly waste land/woodland that looks abandoned to nature

    7. Old fortress with high walls eg norman building/castle


    shoot summer 2012 sometime during may/sept over 2 weeks in total

    If you have pictures of a possible location please send them or post them here!

    the shoot is a low budget with the cast and crew working deferred payment.
    There will be insurance covering all locations chosen.
