Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Belling Cooker Door Seal Query

I have a Belling cooker with a fan oven. The oven door seal is on the body of the cooker and the door closes in against it.

The seal has come loose in two places and heat escapes while the oven is on.

Is there a special glue that I can use to fix it or should I buy a new seal? I'm wondering also if a new seal would have the adhesive needed, on it. Thanks.

    I've a similar problem.
I'm not at home at the moment so havent got the make and model of the oven, but I know the seal has small wire kinda clips holding it on.
I got a replacement seal on the internet.
Wondering if I'll have a go at fitting it myself, or who would a guy get to try and fit a thing like this for you.

Dimpco on the Airport road in Dublin supply spare parts for Belling, you should give them a call. We've bought parts from them and they're very helpful.
