Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iphone woes

    i got my first iphone over in adverts last week, it worked fine until today, it asked me to download i tunes and sync my fone, i did as instructed until i got a message saying my sim card and carrier were not adaptable to itunes and the iphone, it shows no recption and i can only make emergency calls, i transfered the sim to another fone and it works fine, thanks in advance for your help.

    the phone was more than likely software unlocked so updating the software removes the unlock, what iphone is it

    2g 8gb, the seller said it was got in the us a good while ago.

    Just jailbreak it and unlock it again.

    i have jail broken it, but it does not recognoise my sim

    Jailbreak and unlock are different things.

    i have used spirit to unlock, this has worked fine until the reboot, i have on the screen the apple logo plus the fone showing the reboot progress, this is stuck for the past hour at i/4 of an inch and has showed no sign of moving.

    Okay, restore your phone to 3.1.3 again, get the firmware from felixbruns.de. Then re jailbreak with spirit wait until the phone boots and you should see cydia. Go into Cydia and wait till everything reloads then go to manage-sources the ultrasn0w repo should be there.. If its not add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com. Then install ultrasn0w from the repository and you should be fully unlocked!
