Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If I listen to a podcast, is there anyway I can record it onto my iPhone's HD so that I can listen to it any time I like?

If not, how can I make a recording of a podcast and transfer it to my iPhone? e.g. How could I record a podcast onto my computer and transfer it to the phone?

    Please speak slowly! ;)

    Thanks.

    D.

Edited: I've downloaded the .mpeg file onto my computer's desktop. How do I get it into my iTune's Podcast library so that I can transfer it to the phone. Thanks!

Is it audio or video? Put up a link to the podcast here and people will be better able to help.

You should just be able to click it, and drag it into itunes and it will add itself to the library

Dragging and dropping into iTunes will add it as a movie file or a song. You will need to find that file, right click > Get Info > Options and change Media Kind to Podcast.

If this is one you will want to listen to regularly it would be easier to subscribe to the podcast in iTunes by either finding it in the iTunes Store and subscribing or adding the podcast feed from the website in iTunes > Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast.

    Cheers guys. Here's the link.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/cc

It's the first one - Europe's Choice (by the way, the best analysis of how we got into this mess that I've heard)

    I can't get to a computer now, but I.......

    1. Open iTunes at the Podcast library window?
    2. Right click on that link and...?

    Thanks.

    D.

    Edited: Sorted. Thanks, as always.
