Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey :-)

I'm looking for new ways to do my mid to long length hair instead of just wearing it straight or in a pony tail. I taught myself how to do a French plait last week from a you-tube tutorial

other than that, has anyone got any tips? How do you style your hair?

I got this recently and I love it, you don't have to be as precise as you do with a normal curling wand and you can make it look really natural I think.
It creates really pretty subtle waves!!

I've been thinking about getting myself a set of curlformers after seeing them in a Sallys and some tutorials on YT. I'm not a big fan of using a lot of heat in my hair and these things looks pretty simple and the results look amazing from what I've seen. This is the video I watched if you're curious. I guess the only thing is it takes more time than just curling it with a curling iron or whatever but I've read a lot of reviews that you can sleep in them and it's not so bad. And I think you can blow dry your hair while the curlers are in to speed it up. But it's the fact that your hair cools while it's curled that means they'll stay in better (or at least that's what I've read!).

Check out Krista Bradford on Youtube. She has some nice ideas for hairstyles, none of her techniques are overly complicated and she doesn't blab on for ages either!

Thanks all, I'll look into your recommendations. I'm off work at the moment so I'm very bored - I'm currently sporting a fishtail plait I learned (again off You-tube)

How about buying a wide barrell curling iron and doing some soft waves?

I think these kind of loose curls are really pretty.
