    Hey guys,

As per title, I am looking to go away for a weekend maybe the second weekend of march.

Is Carlow is good spot for a a young couple? Is there much to do during the day and what is the nightlife like?

Also is the Talbot hotel difficult to get to from train station?

    Any suggestions/feedback welcome

    Thanks in advance

Also is the Talbot hotel difficult to get to from train station? yes you would'nt want to walk it, a fair distance away, get taxi, but then your within walking distance of the grid n the dome from the talbot. only thing bout the talbot is its a fair distance out of the town, you'll have to get a taxi in and back if you want to go to the pubs/clubbing. but carlow great spot for nightlife.

    Any suggestions/feedback welcome

the seven oaks hotel & courthouse hotel, & red setter guesthouse are alot closer to the train station and they are all in the town centre.
