Coach just left the hotel. No Kaboul, Sandro, VDV, Lennon, JD or King. Oh dear.

King is on the coach, his next tweet points out he made a mistake.

Still a lot of of players missing, not good!

Until I see the official team sheet, I'm not going to believe anything!

Spurs gone out to 3/1 for the win. Could make a few quid if you fancy us, me I honestly can't see a win but they have proven me wrong a few times this year.

    COYS

Reports that Harry Redknapp is not going to make the match.

Apparently the private jet carrying him up to Liverpool has tech difficulties and is being delayed.

This day and age I can't see it mattering too much. I'm sure Joe will be fully clued in and 'Arry can phone in any changes. Still, a distraction we could do without.

Lads we're going out for a backs against the wall performance. Lots of players missing, the gaffer missing and against a club that are rejoicing in our "misfortune"

We're going to fcuking stuff them. :pac:

Livermore and Kranjcar worry me bigtime. They got destroyed at OT playing together opening game of season. Sandro should be playing tonight with lennon and VDV out.

I'm fearing the worst tonight:( Hope i'm wrong.

    Is Sandro on the bench?

He's not in squad , must be injured. Our bench is very poor tonight.

Good 25 odd passes in a row there and a chance for Walker.

    I'm happy if it's 0-0 half time.

Me too, nothing much on for Liverpool, surprised at Kranjar covering back as much as he is. Joe Jordan is indeed a tough nut:pac:

Not at the races tonight. Hopefully we'll have a big second half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,395 ✭✭✭Hatch99

relax lads, i think we are doing fine.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

We done ok in that half for the team we have out,I'd be happy enough if it stayed like that at the final whistle.

Poor so far but showing some nice passing near the end of the half. I think walker can get some joy down the right, just didnt get the break of the ball a few times against Johnson, they seem happy to leave Johnson one on one with Walker too, keep feeding him the ball and he will get into the box.

Ade all alone and giving away every ball he gets.

Niko is tracking back a lot, fair play to him

    Draw wud b great here

Looks like we turned up for the draw, defintely playing a dangerous game. I hate when Ekotto turns sideways and stick out a leg from crosses, face the focking ball.

If we continue to play like this in the 2nd half we'll get beat. Saha to come on soon. Livermore has been solid so far.

Anyone got the impression Bale is
Pissed off with something? The defensive set-up maybe?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,672 ✭✭✭keane=cock

why can we not just put the ball in!!!

ive lost count of the amount of times we have had the chance to cross the ball and decided to not!!

Am I watching a different game. I think we are doing really well and forcing Pool to hooving it. Liverpool look bereft of ideas and we are beginning to open them up.

agreed but we dont look like getting anything except a nil all draw!

granted its not a bad result but we are so good going forward that its frustrating watching us try hold a team we tore apart at the lane. granted they had less men but before the sending off we were murdering them

Well the "bale as a striker" debate is as good as over.

We can thank Dawson , friedal, king and Parker for that point

Friedal came for a punch in 81st minute and got kicked, no way would Gomes have come for it

Scott Parker is a legend. He is some man

Still 7 ahead of Chelsea. Gotta beat Newcastle now I feel.
