The increase in road works around Kilkenny is really annoying me, wasting money in order to get the budget this year. Doea anyone know who is responsible?

The weather, there's no point in putting down a new surface in November for frost and ice to make sh1te of it in December/ January. Also a lot of repair work starts now after the winter wear.

The same thought occurred to me today actually. On the ring road.

They're apparently putting a couple of inches of tarmac on top of a perfectly good surface.
