Thank God I'm not a Scotland fan, my laptop would have been out the window by now.

Scotland leading the possession percentage 59-41

If Scotland don't win this, they only have themselves to blame - dominated the second half with no return

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Scotland doing nearly everything they can to not win this hame. U12's practice that kind of pass...

I think I would have given it myself but it was far from a bullsh1t call.
IMO it was! Scottish player got pressure on the ball, which can be seen from the rotation on the ball stopping significantly!

What? 22 drop out - there was no advantage after the penalty???

Scotland were robbed of three points there alright.
Should have been a penalty as no advantage accrued.

What's the definition in the law? Any pressure or significant pressure or what?

visible/controlled downward pressure on the ball is required

Scotland seem to be doing everything in their power to lose this

Nah....no way man. How many chances can you throw away and still think you deserve to be in the game? Scotland are awful. England aren't much better.

Fair enough. I just think you can see from what everyone else is saying the opinion is devided a bit on it. Would say to me your being a bit harsh. But that's the beauty of opinions!:D

Crazy thing to say, you take it one game at a time and on it's own merit -there's no way Ireland can afford to rest on their laurels against England on the basis of their play tonight, it doesn't work that way

Blair has been a massive improvement though.

Farrell short with the penalty - and then give it away!

    Lucky to get the penalty!

You have to give credit to England for their discipline, another side would have given away 10-15 penalties with Scotland having all the ball.

England with a kickable attempt here.

    Big kick now!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

If its 6-13 after this kick, its all over for the Scots.

  • Moderators, Education Moderators, Regional South Moderators Posts: 15,247 Mod ✭✭✭✭rebel girl 15

Scotland need a converted try to draw - can't see Scotland winning now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,225 ✭✭✭mar-z

Can't see Scotland getting back into it now.

  • Moderators, Education Moderators, Regional South Moderators Posts: 15,247 Mod ✭✭✭✭rebel girl 15

Silly, silly silly! Could have had a lineout in the 22, and yet threw it in

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    6-13, game over.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,193 ✭✭✭[Jackass]

Woah! Glitch in the matrix there!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,225 ✭✭✭mar-z

Took a quick throw when they would have had a lineout in the 22

When you think of the last weekend of the heineken cup pool stages and the standard of rugby played, the two matches today were absolute pants. Hope it's not an indicator of the 6 nations to come:(

  • If this were Scotland's first ever game of rugby I'd be impressed but not surprised

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,193 ✭✭✭[Jackass]

Any half decent side would have put England to the sword tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Surely that should be a penalty for England offside?

Thought the same but Farrell was drifting back as he caught it, ended up behind whoever caught making him appear offside.
