Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Farm Work Abroad

Been looking all over the place for links and sites both here and on other websites, i.e google.

Just wondering does anyone here know of good agencies (e.g celtic connections, marvin farms) to help people work abroad?

Myself and a few others are going on placements from March until September with the college and i'm very interested in spending a few weeks/months during the summer (after finishing up with pigs and sheep in Ireland) working on dairy/beef farm(s) in the UK or Europe, but it seems very difficult to find information on going about it.

Was just wondering, before we go to bigger lengths, does anyone on this forum know of, or even better have experience with any such agencies, and if so do they have links or maybe contact numbers for said companies?

Indeed, any information about working abroad for a few weeks as part of Professional Work Experience with the ag college would be greatly appreciated. I said i'd throw it out here before i go doing any serious research. Cheers in advance

Try HelpX.net, see if you can get one of the farms approved by the collage.
