Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    on the rare occasion I am chewing it ...when I reach a bin I removes it from my mouth (by grabbing it between two fingers) and puts it in said bin discreetly (I may use a tissue to grab it if I'm in some sort of polite work environment etc)

    in this fashion I avoids either of the non-inevitable unpleasant spitting or swallowing outcomes mentioned



    now repeat after me while continuing to balance that encyclopaedia on your heads

    "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain!" (plummy middle england accent essential)

    I'll make proper ladies out of ye yet lads!...............or my middle names aren't finishing and school

    We can't digest chewing gum, can we? There's no harm in swallowing but there's no point in it either.

    Handy tip: Never fall asleep when chewing gum. It goes all soggy and may fall out of your mouth and attach your hair to the pillow.

    If you swallow chewing gum it wraps itself around your vital organs and eventually kills you.

    Same with apple seeds. Apple seeds, when swallowed, will grow into a tree and burst through you so you'll have a tree growing out of your face.
