Was backing up my computer earlier, when I got a message from McAfee saying I have a trojan in a shared folder on my network, and it says to remove the threat, right click on the folder, change it's properties to allow full access and then click scan. My question is where do I find this folder?? Obviously I only know the basics about computers, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

McAfee should tell you the path to folder and filename

I wouldn't give it full access, as i could possibly be a trojan downloader, heres a handy program that should sort it out. It's called malware bytes, and its free to find and download at www.malwarebytes.org . If you were to allow it full access it would have full access to to everything.

Antlyn - also, read the 'I think I have a virus' sticky and the 'Read before you post' sticky as you'll get some good info there.
