Help me name this activity

Hi all,

A few years ago I was shown some movies on Youtube of young lads on holiday jumping off bridges into the river below and others (different group) jumping off a height into the sea. The general activity was called "xxxxx" and was some sort of rite of passage which I'm trying to remember but can't.

Appreciate anyone who can shed light on this for me!!

No to Tomb Stoning and cliff diving. It was some sort of "xxx surfing" I think but I'm probably wrong.

As EddyC15 said.. in Europe and the UK t's called TombStoning.. I'm not sure they call it anything specific in the US..

There was a spate of reports about it on the BBC a few years ago when some kids got injured, and it became a mini craze..

If you put the term into Google, there are tons of videos, images etc.
