Today, in the west of the city, Mr justMary found a silver item with "Andrew, love Mum" inscribed on it. Looks like the kind of keepsake that someone might be upset about losing. If you think it's yours, PM me with a description of what it is.

If you can provide the hallmarks I should be able to date it for you. That might narrow the search.

Might be an idea to drop it into the guards as its the first place people look for these things. Galway bay fm often do free adverts for those kind of things too. It does sound like its something someone would like back. Hope it's reunited with its owner soon!
