Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Calf with Brown Scour

    Have a 5 week old bought in Bull calf that has a brownish Scour for last 1 1/2 weeks, i gave him 3 x 25 ml of bimastat last week it cleared it but its back again this morn has he is on his own in bedded calf slats and is very lively and healthy looking, has anyone any ideas?:confused:

    Definitely..
    Examine the scour well to see if it has any clear jelly like stuff or it could be dark from blood in the scour... Both signs of the dreaded coccidiosis..

    Seen the odd calf too with a brownish scour from eating nuts.

    Had 2 that we couldn't cure with Bimastat. Used AlamycinLA 2x72hrs apart, did the job grand.:)
