Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So, AHers, I've noticed a creeping seriousness. An uninvited depth to a lot of threads. Dare I say it? Even a level of maturity in certain posters (ye know who ye are).

It's time to fight back. And so, I open this thread to all AHers to come up with the most ridiculous thread title, that might bring some of the light-heartednessness back to AH.

And, for the record, a sideboard is my favourite piece of furniture, Paris Hilton is a woman who I thoroughly dislike yet would still nail, and I still think that a blackcurrant is the least trustworthy fruit.

*mental note/ Must set Hilton up with blackcurrant*

You'll get loads of right-wing people in here if you're seeking shallowness.

Either that or dole scroungers. Dole should be halved.

Then there's the bond holders/bankers/speculators.. 'tis a shallow grave they should be in.

What about the public service? Shure they'd have the time on their hands for shallowness.

And lefties? Don't talk to me - shure they think money comes from thin air.

In AH you can have a silly thread and a more serious themed thread side by side. For me, that is the beauty of AH, the lack of definition. So don't ruin it OP.

What's the best shallow end of a swimming pool you've been in?

The one in Mayfield in Cork City had a nappy, an empty can of Lilt and a Turtles colouring book in it a few years ago.

Aye, I knew 'twere only a matter of time before y'brought your anti-worker, pinko-conservative neo-something agenda in here.

    Aye.

    Aye.

And when there's no more rope to be spun, who are y'going to hang then?

    Y'll have no hangmen left.

    Aye.

    Aye.

Although, I do like your artisan-flavoured cheese.

Aye, 'tis good cheese, but, where do you think the crackers came from???

    Aye.

    Aye.

Into which I tentatively dip my toe.

No plunging headfirst, just as well for your pool is lacking depth, tepid and like a guppy soup - touchè.
