how do i assign static ip on lan on upc thomson router?

    router - upc thomson router

    i currently have dhcp setup
    i have a static ip on one device
    i want to set static ip up on another, but cant find the option in the router settings

    am i blind? im sure ive done this before

    You set the static IP up on the device. On the router make sure the address range used by dhcp excludes the static ones.

    On some routers you can tell the router to always assign a particular address to a device.
