The Guards should also have something to say but as they seem to ignore car plates that are totally illegible from dirt every winter they will probably throw a blind eye to that as well. Its illegal either way, the second last "digit" is taking the p1ss.

whats the story with the Jag infront, it looks like ???? ZH which would be early 70's, well before that model was built.

Nice looking cars all the same.

That jag has been discussed here before IIRC.

Not sure if it was that one. It's earlyish (looking at the rear) in some respects, but I don't know my ZH from anything. :o

I do remember another dubious one being discussed before which was a very late XJS, with the bonded rear side windows.

Well, 1 ZH to 9999 ZH was issued from Oct 1972 - Feb 1973 and the XJS was built from '75 onwards. Must have been a transfer in the late 70s/80s?

what should that number plate be?
    ZV247?8
I cant think of what number looks like a V? two slanted 1's? A V just stuck in for fun?

No idea! ZV 24718, ZV 24778 and ZV2478 don't come up as that car. Funny!
