how to identify a blown screw in fuse?

    is there a quick way to find out which screw in fuse has blown on the board?

    Blast from the past. They used to have a small coloured metal disk at the "fatter" end which fell off if the fuse was blown.

    but most of the fuses on the board do not have any coloured discs on them

    maybe they're mostly 16amp then

    the indicator usually pops

    outside of that continuity or phase tester(not recommended)

    23 screw in fuses on the board.. I swapped each one around until the power came on....

    Small led and battery.. Wire it up with the fuse and if the led stays off the fuse is blown

    If done randomly, (using a 1.5 v battery) the tester will have a 50/50 chance of lighting the LED, even if the fuse is ok.
