Overclocking q6600 G0

    Im trying to overclock to 3.2GHz but worker 3 (core 2) prime 95 seems to stop without an error.

    My Build:

    Coolermaster Centurion 590

    3x NB-Multiframe® S-Series M12-S2 Fans

    Corsair TX650W

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz G0 Stepping (Arctic freezer 7 pro rev 2)

    4GB - TWIN2X2048-6400C4 PC2-6400 2GB Kit 4-4-4-12

    ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo

    EVGA GeForce GTX 285

    Bios:

    FSB : 400mhz
    CPU VCore Voltage: 1.35V
    FSB/DRAM frequency Ratio : 1:1
    Sandy Bride: 333
    Memory Voltage: 2.20V
    PCIE Frequency: 100.0000
    Memory Timings: manual to 4-4-4-12
    CPU Ratio: 8
    Max CPUID Value Limit: Disabled
    Enhanced C1 Control: Disabled
    Intel SpeedStep: Disabled

    Im a noob and only started yesterday if i forgot something stupid or important info please tell and i will provide.

    how did you get on with the overclock , Doing the same thing at the moment but with different ASUS board. P5ND-SLI 750i same CPU

    Currently only have 3.0Ghz stable. number of factors seem to make it unstable at 3.2 and above. and prob need a better heatsink than I have going higher. when I have the system a 3.2 or above it just hangs after a while. Would like to be at 3.2 or more :(, 3.0 will have to do for now.

    and way settings I have use
    Ram is 5-5-5-15 1.8V (Geil PC6400 DDR2)

    FSB 333
    Multiplier is X9

    vcore- 1.3
    DRAM-1.850
    HT - 1.3
    NB- 1.34
    SB- 1.5

    disable speedstep and C1 state.


    idle temps are about 46deg ,
