i noticed something interesting the other day on gt5 in special events if you come 2nd you get paid more than if you come 1st then you can do again finish first and get paid again but less ...odd one just thought id put it out there get your views has anyone else experienced this

Some events pay for every position made up so finishing 2nd also pays out for every position up to second. This usually amounts to quite a bit more than the reward for 1st alone. Downside is that once you've completed the event you only get paid for improving on your previous best, once you've finished first the race no longer pays if you repeat it.
