Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,
Im just wondering did anyone else notice a drop in performance or any issues after installing Spire? I had Spire installed about 2 months ago (whenever it came out). I noticed that the iPhone was slowing down, and also noticed a few apps just wouldnt load. I thought it may have just been because it was freshly jailbroken. However, I was loading apps yesterday that I havent used since before it was jailbroken and they werent working. I went into Cydia and removed a few items i installed and all the above was still happening. I then removed Spire and all of a sudden everything is working fine and the phone seems quicker. Has anyone else noticed any of the above since putting on Spire?

Yeah i noticed it too and done a bit of goggling and its a known issue. I had to uninstall spire to get the tomtom app working, hopefully they'll resolve the issues.

Yea, never had any issues with apps not working but I just removed it today as phone was a little laggy lately and wasn't sure what to blame it on, siri is rubbish anyway
I'll see how the performance is today

Yep Spire conflicts with Skype so I removed it to get Skype back. I never noticed any performance issues though.

Thanks for the replies! At least I wasnt imagining it. All my travel apps wouldnt load, as well as some games that I had bought (but never got refunds for!). Overall the phone seems better, but seem to be having more and more springboard crashes the past few weeks.

When I had spire on my 4 there's was definitely performance issues. Sometimes it would take a second or 2 for the phone to respond after tapping a button

Exact issues I was having. I stripped down a load of the processes and it fixed it temporarily. Now it's gone though! Yay!

Well a day without it now and the phone is definitely faster to respond.
    Bye bye spire

Thanx for this guys, my 4 was running slower than the wifes 3gs until I got rid of spire, maybe thats the reason Apple only released Siri for 4s, the 4 can't handle it...?
