    Can anyone recommend some places to have dinner in Kinsale ?

    ....excluding places that only have a menu composing of fish !!! Everything else is fine :)

    Toddies, above the Bulman is really nice (if a small bit pricey), Crackpots is consistently great as is Max's (shut right now?). Shanghai Express and The Stolen Pizza are great at the casual dining level (both shut till march).

    Hamlets is great but check out the menu first as its not as varied as some others but the food is good and not much fish:D

    Crackpots... Lucinda O Sullivan slated it awhile back . But we have never had a poor meal there. its casual enough with a good variety . They also do an early bird .

    the Shake is lovely i ate there about a year ago and keep meaning to go back, i think its only open after 6pm though.. the food was lovely and the lady who owned it served us and she was such a lovely woman...
