I need to get a new screen (just the glass, it's working otherwise) fitted for an iPad2, little one dropped it :(
Left it into PC Repair centre on Davis street a good while back but they are unable to source parts.
Anybody know of anyone in Limerick that can repair this for me?
    Cheers

Compu B but it would be pricey I would think. Other than that you only really have apple.

You could try http://www.fonemenders.ie/ on Catherine street. They are not cheap though.

Compu B do the repairs, and if they can't fix em, they'll send em to apple.

    Hi there,

We do ipad2 repairs. Just to check - what colour is the ipad - black or white.

Our Limerick repair centre is in UL in Castletroy and the repair will go to Nenagh to be completed. In any case we'll definitely beat CompuB for price.

    Best of luck

Regards fonemenders, something I read last week - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056101528

IIRC from that thread there are no authourised Apple repair centres in Ireland.

But,I guess, ya pays your moneies, ya take your chances.

Stay well away is all I can say.

Rude staff combined with dodgy work.

    I used this guy.

    http://www.pcpal.ie/

Did a rush job for my son's ipad (he needed it for school - special needs) and he fixed it really quick. On a saturday too IIRC.

I used these guys before to fix my phone, came and collected it at work and then dropped it back to me about two hours later.

Cheapest in Limerick too as I rang and got a quote off everyone for a screen for the Iphone.
