I must say I was mega-shocked when they had so much print space reserved for porn when I was reading Tuesday's indo.

As a teen, I personally don't watch porn but I'm pretty sure my parents think I do. The same night as that was in the paper my mam starts questioning me about extra eircom charges because we exceeded our 10gb download limit.

Man, I really wish my parents weren't so incredibly conservative.

It also said in a related article something along the lines of "A staggering 54% of teenagers watch internet porn".

This so called statistic immediately shows what a piece of trash this paper is.

What? I don't get that. The paper is a piece of trash cause it claims 54% of teenagers watch internet porn? I'd consider that a pretty fair figure to be honest, if not somewhat conservative.

While the story is absolutely 100% entirely fictional from start to finish. I really don't think our politicians have the guile to think of that. This Sarah Gately hack deserves full accreditation I'm sure. Hoping to fill the big red floppy shoes left vacant by Alison O'Riordan no doubt and take her place amongst the other journalistic luminaries at the Indo.

Though not a conspiracy nut, I have to point out that in the months during the build up to the banning of smoking in pubs, the media and the indo in particular seemed to be saturated with health related stories related to the issue.

The figure is definitely conservative. I'd say the figure is closer to 80%. Although I guess among girls it's considerably lower?
