Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah that's all well and good and whatever, but what annoys me is the people who post "Doing a clear out" and then 40 minutes later update their status with "If you can see this you've survived my clear out <3"....

Complete and utter cunts! Usually when I see this I delete them myself.

"but my counsellor said it would set me free on the golden road of self actualisation"..

I recently 'unfriended' someone I used to be friends with a few years ago. The last time I saw him was about a year ago, and he said a lot of things I found to be really obnoxious and I realised I didn't like him all that much.
Nevertheless, I regret doing this, as doing so instantly made me feel incredibly childish. Something reminiscent of the playground about it. God only knows why I decided to do this after such a long length of time since I last saw him. There could be potential awkwardness at some point in the future as we have mutual friends but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

The whole 'facebook friends' thing is a load of bollocks :pac:

That people add every single person they've ever known. Just so it looks like they have a 'social life'... "oh i'll add john. havent talked to him in 5 years. Not since I worked in that shop. Dont really like him. *clicks add* "

Facebook doesn't notify people that someone has unfriended them, as far as I know.

Women have an obsession with clicking through friends of friends and constantly checking out pictures of 'friends' they never talk to. It's weird.

yeah, really that applies to people, rather than specifically women. I don't look at anyones anything unless i'm told about it.

I heart Journos. I can just picture the internal monologue...

"What's this? Horrific double murder in Tennessee leaving an infant orphaned at the crime scene? Boooorinnngg! Oh wait, apparently they de-friended some woman the killers knew at some vague previous point on Facebook. Maybe I can word this story to make it appear that was the cause of the whole thing, add a whole weird pop culture angle to the reporting. God I'm so fucking talented."

was thinking the same myself - there has to be a reason for her doing it.

I defriended a girl about six months ago. Totally forgot I did it. I went to mail her on Wed about a gig that was coming up in her home town and saw we were not friends anymore. I mailed her to ask why she unfriended me..................Then it hit me!! Have not heard from her.

Amidst all the confusion of this I am not sure if I am meant to kill her or is she meant to kill me??

One of my better friends defriended me a couple of months ago, only figured it out when I went to invite him to something around Christmas, I guess that's me told so! why he's decided not to be friends anymore, well I guess I'll never know.

I don't. There was also a thread on here recently of a boyfriend who masturbates to his girlfriend's friend's facebook photos. There's wierdos on both sides of the gender divide.

**** to pictures on the internet is weird now? :o

Does it always have to be videos?
I think its a bit wierd to **** over photos that are not pornographic

There's an app called Sync My Friends which shows who has defriended you or deactivated their account.
