I must say I thought that part where the girl said to Ray "I like you" was a bit ridiculous. I mean can you imagine a bird saying that to a guy in real-life? No Irish one would anyway. It smacks of desperation.

Ray's new Irish woman is Tony Stark's FRIDAY and Mike Ehrmantraut's daughter in law.

It’s best not to compare this to real life
But a woman saying “ I like you” does happen lol

I get that all the time "I like you" pauses "But" :)

A cracking episode this alright with the flashbacks, Directed by Kyra Sedgwick

I did wonder where this series would go with the storyline and I think it’s very good and really picking up nicely now, the flashbacks really shows the hatred ray feels to his father and the actors used were very good

She's Kerry Condon from Thurles, County Tipp.

Why didn't Ray follow the transfer agent? That would have been the easiest way to find Mick.
I know Molly broke their cover but he could have stopped her.

Wow great ending that sets up what hopefully will be a fantastic season finale next week.

Ray Donovan’s time fixing other people’s problems may be coming to a close as Showtime’s Gary Levine admits that the drama is “nearing the end of its run”.

Showtime’s Co-President of Entertainment Levine told Deadline that it is expected to make a decision on the future of the Liev Schreiber-fronted show “in the next few weeks” and hinted that it is set to return for an eighth and final season.

With Shameless being handed an eleventh and final season this morning, this means the ViacomCBS premium network’s top two dramas could find themselves with one further season each.

“I think Ray Donovan is nearing the end of its run. We always talked about seven or eight seasons. Nothing has been decided yet but it’s fair to say it is nearing the end,” Levine said

That was pretty obvious, straight on the blower, but a phenomenal episode. This season has been pretty epic. Everyone's storylines have been right up there. Seeing Kerry Condon in the nip - a bonus

What an amazing journey it’s been. I’ve been reading your comments, and the outpouring of love and support for our cast and crew has been truly overwhelming. I know the big question on everyone’s mine is whether there will be a season 8. Truth is it’s in the networks hands. So if you want more, reach out to them at @showtime, @raydonovan, and @CBS and let them know how you feel. Either way it’s been an amazing ride and we have all of you to thank for it.

That season was great. It can't end now - we need one more to tie it up right

It would be disappointing for the show to end but I will say that ending is near perfect for me it's Ray doing what Ray does.

Disappointing however as said above that end and last shot of Ray might be the best way to close the show.

So many stories left hanging, it deserved one more season to tie things up

Pity, I thought the last two seasons were very good, would have liked one more to finish it off.

Ah here what's going on. To not give a proper ending to a show over 7 seasons is a kick in the teeth to anyone who invested all that time

Gutted! One of the best programmes on TV in recent years. Really loved this last season but was looking forward to seeing how they'd finish it up. Very disappointed in showtime. They should have let them do the final season.

Id love to know what clown decided to kill it off, worst decision ever made, glad it is coming back, they could easily have 2-3 more seasons.

I'd imagine that it's an extremely expensive show to make, great cast, lots of special effects and on-site shooting.
