Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If it was me, i'd go for the full HD. The experts say it doesn't matter at that size, but i'm no expert! I've had a HD ready 32" for years and always wish I held out for a 1080p one.

DUnno about the Tosh, but I'd get the LG, no question. Also, some lower end Toshiba's now are supposedly Vestel's rebadged to suit a low price point.

    Anyway, yes, LG.

Gonna buy one of these TVs but not sure which. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    LG 32LK450U
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-32LK450U-32-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B004ZC3LPA/ref=sr_1_11?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1328832584&sr=1-11

This one is full HD, can play movies directly off a harddrive and is definitely saorview compatible.

    Toshiba 32BV501B
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-32BV501B-32-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B0056Z7700/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328880643&sr=8-1

This one is HD ready (does that matter at this size?) and cant play movies, but It's £50 cheaper so could buy a media player like this and still have money left over: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cyclone-Micro-MultiMedia-Player-Adaptor/dp/B00534L3B8/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1328905034&sr=1-1

Also, the Toshiba isn't listed on the saorview website but says its freeview-ready...does that mean it will work with saorview?

    Thanks again.
Did Amazon ship that to you? I tried buying the LG 32" and they don't ship to Ireland.

Many, many brands have TV's assembled by Vestel. Doesn't particularly mean they are "rebadged".
