Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

If I buy an Apple TV in the US, is it possible to use it back in Ireland or will I need to purchase additional cables?

They use HDMI cables on the new one. But you're not really going to save much on a €120 item?

Looking at some teardown photos (3rd photo) from iFixit you shouldn't need a different power supply. It's rated at 100-240VAC, 50-60Hz. Do get a lead with a proper BS 1363 plug though.

I got mine from the us. No issues just had to get a new power cable as above. Had a spare from an old laptop power supply

Price in US is US$99. So approx a 30 euro saving. Worth it if you're in the country. :) Got my parents one from the US and all you need to do is put a different plug on the lead or use a different standard 'figure of 8' lead like whats used for many common power supplies, radios, etc.
