Worst case though the frames are warped, in which case I'm not sure much can be done. Windows are very big and openings make up 2 thirds so any gap causes serious reduction in thermal/acoustic insulation.

Anyone recommend someone that is skilled at resolving these issues?

Hadn't factored it into agreed price but contracts not signed....
