Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Teat trouble

This morning I had a cow with what the old lad calls a "pea in the teat"(translates as pain in the ass). Had to use a syphon to strip the teat out, definitely not ideal. Anybody got any solutions or advice?

Do not use a syphon to strip the teat out
Will get mastitis
Keep massaging pea un till u can force it out
Roll it with your thumb

I'll try it this evening. When I took off the clusters this morning there was still one quarter full of milk. I was getting nowhere fast trying to strip it out and the next bunch of cows were waiting so for handiness sake I shoved a syphon in to drain out the quarter. Know its not a long term solution

Got lucky this evening and with a bit of rubbing and massaging I eventually forced the pea out. RESULT. Who would believe an innocuous bit of calcium could be so frustrating?
