Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hi, had some items stolen from an outfarm last week and now thinking of installing some cameras.
I saw some sort of cctv camera in the farmers journal while back which was selling for €120 i think but cant find that now.
Think it was a type of motion detention spotlight that came on and then took a photo when something was detected..
Anyone any ideas on what type of inexpensive camera etc i could install

    thanks

Have a look on www.ebay.co.uk when you buy here you are paying extra vat and higher retail margin.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Sorry to hear that, is it something like this you're looking for?
Here's a link, or Google 3 in 1 security camera
    http://www.all-about-the-home.co.uk/guardcam-3-in-1-security-cameralightaudio-floodlight-system-3433-p.asp

There's a few different makes on the market, early models weren't great, picture quality too low, but something like that might be decent enough.

Edit. I see there are LED versions now, running costs would be a bit lower with 11 Watt bulbs

It's the Guardcam I'd say your talking about. Most Wholesalers have them and they're in and around the €120 mark.

A neighbour has one that works on a motion sensor and records to an internal USB stick. It also has pre-recorded voice messages like " You are being video recorded, please leave the premeises". It was cheap too from what I rememeber.
