Vegetarian runners

I've looked around a few websites but thought it would be no harm to post here too - where can I locate decent quality exercise shoes that are leather/cruelty free, and reasonably priced, instore, or online (don't particularly like buying shoes online without trying them on first though).

PS. Should probably mention that I'm female, with quite narrow feet and high arches.

Brooks running shoes are all vegan: see http://talk.brooksrunning.com/2008/10/14/vegan-shoes-oryes-our-running-shoes-are-vegan-too/! So are New Balance shoes. Definitely try before you buy as you can do a gait analysis to make sure the shoes are the right shape for your foot when running

New Balance shoes tend to be wider than most - for the male shoes anyway. [I have pretty wide feet myself and have favoured NB before because of that.] So yeah - def try before you buy.
