Gaming Laptop Advice?

I was going to get a gaming computer but I decided that I would prefer a laptop. So has anyone got any advice? I am looking for something with anywhere from 4-8 GB RAM, 1 GB graphics card and other good specs.
I'm going to play games like Oblivion and Fallout 3 on it, nothing newer.
Screen size and such doesn't matter to me.
Doesn't have to have Windows, weight doesn't matter.
I'd like something black like the Alienware m11x although I can't afford that.
It must be 700 or lower.
Any help much thanked.
I don't mind buying second hand so long as it's in good nick (and comes with a mouse)

Look for anything with a GT540m GPU minimum. Anything lower wont do. You might be able to get even a GT555m. i3 or i5 processor would do, 4GB ram is plenty.

Sites like Komplette, Computeruniverse.net and savonlaptops are good.

If you go to the student section of the site you'll find an i7 version with a GT540m for 800. Look around for a 10% off voucher (they come and go) and it'll be in budget almost. Anyone can buy from the student section as far as I know.
