But it can be taken as harsh realities of life. Especially with lines like "when you are in love with a beautiful woman, you watch her friends!" - I mean, a beautiful woman will always have loads of male 'friends' (aka, them waiting for their chance to get with her, even if she has a boyfriend)

The best looking women are more likely not to cheat actually. They get with people they are very attracted to in the first place.
They are more likely to dump a guy for someone else though - for the same reason. That's still way better in my book. Wouldn't want to be with someone who wanted someone else anyway.

It's still a big generalisation really. Women who look for attention for its own sake or use their sexuality aggressively in a calculated way are easy enough to spot and they can be gorgeous or ugly or anywhere in between. Respectable women are easy enough to recognise too usually. How women interact with guys and present themselves has more effect on how much guys will come onto them than how attractive they are really.

BUT if she IS generally regarded as being beautiful, then what's important is how she handles the inevitable attention from other guys.

I had grave reservations about marrying a hot woman for the reasons outlined in the Dr Hook song.
At the end of the day, I did it though to genetically improve my children's chances of being beautiful.
Luckily, it worked.
