The Department of Lifelong Learning & Outreach will run a number of short extra mural evening programmes starting week beginning the 24th September. These include

· The Alexander Technique
· Digital Photography
· Organic Gardening
· Introduction to Painting & Drawing
· SPEAK – Public Speaking & Communication Skills
· The Spark Within – Creative Writing
· The Witch Hunt in Early Modern Europe

Then there's a few more further back,
One is the Eden Restaurant in UL, then more volunteering and stuff...

In fairness, I haven't had a UL Arena one since the Olympics

Will I forward any new ones I get onto you,
Don't want you missing out on any great deals!

I'm getting ones from Permanent TSB and Bank of Ireland asking me to confirm my details. I don't have an account with either of them. :pac:

Getting more and more traditional spam in my student account, and I don't give out that email address too often.

Twice in a row now I've missed lectures because they've switched rooms
I don't check my email before every lecture
Damn it!

Sulis is taking up quite a bit of space thankfully,
Still have room for the open days and the First 7 Weeks (again!) emails :P
Only managed to access my Sulis today as well,
They changed it last year for some reason...
So a lot of catching up and printing to do here now in the library

This thread is getting boring. Quicky. The emails aren't going to stop, so please, instead of ranting about it on boards, go complain to SAA or ITD. Either that or get on to the boards dev team to introduce an "ignore topic" function.

I wouldn't read it if it didn't keep appearing at the top of the list

But my point is, as I've said before, it isn't your personal email address. It's quite obvious that the college will use it for promotional stuff and other college related stuff. Get over it already.

Oh I've nothing against the college pimping stuff (and that includes the Arena ones and writing classes). I only ever mention thme here just to take the piss.

It's ones like edit: *name removed at poster's request - sceptre* one that piss me off because they're blatantly abusing the email system for their own personal use.

And that sir, I shall never get over! :P
