Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Who makes your blood boil?

Who makes your blood boil as soon as you hear their name or see them somewhere...in other words, who do you hate the most...past and present of course :-)

For me, it would have to be the prophet Mohammed. Sick of hearing his name being chanted, sick of seeing his followers go on bout him...everything about him makes me cringe...

    And you?

I was walking down the road the other day, and this guy barges into me as he was going past, nearly knocking me over. Didn't apologise or anything, and by the time I'd turned around to say something he was way down the street, flicking his fag butt onto the ground without looking, and it nearly went into a pram!

You know who it was, don't you?
    That bloody Muhammad!

    Things rather than people.

    1. When I am powerless to stop something I don't agree with.

    2. Politicians telling lies straight to your face when most sane people know what they are spouting is not the truth.

Any of those makes me fit to chew iron.

    Dawkins-Hipster?

Dawkins is an exceptionally good writer. And I really don't think he's smug at all. His religious opponents on the other hand, some of them unbelievably smug. They have all the answers, he doesn't claim to have any.

Ryan Tubridy pretty much defines what I would class as smug. Not to mention his political-wannabe brother.

Actually Neil Francis is terribly smug aswell. Always a self-satisfied smirk on his face.

Apple and Sony. Both those companies have annoyed me many times over the years, and now they've done it again. Less than 30 minutes after the news broke about Whitney Houston's death, they jacked up the prices of her albums on iTunes:
Houston's 2007 Ultimate Collection increased by £3 to £7.99 in the space of just 30 minutes, with iTunes users reporting that they were prevented from downloading the LP at its original advertised price while the update occurred. It is not yet known who is behind the price increase, with some fans suggesting the label Sony Music or publisher may be responsible.
I'm not a fan of her music, but still ...

Death has this much to be said for it:
You don’t have to get out of bed for it.
    Wherever you happen to be
    They bring it to you—free.

His talks, writings or debates on religion all come across as smug to me. On any other topic I could listen to him for hours but not when it comes to religion.

I more-or-less completely agree with him but it's just that one topic that puts me off him.
