I posted a similar thread in the "gigs\events" forum but i think i shouldn't have Im so new to all this e-ternet forum business.

Is there any event/gigs/creative get togethers today/tonight (14th February)

If by culture you mean wiping a flemmer of your jacket and if by diverse you mean the selection of M&M's available in Dublin, well then yes, it is the height of culture and a vibrant kaleidoscopic metropolis.

I was being sarcastic but it is the most metropolitan place we have , and although i be sarcastic there is greatness in dublin left in the stones , i would be very sad to hear that there is no such goings on , maybe im just being idealistic being from nowhere basically
