Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sadly it looks like one of the ewes in the field across the valley from me has died, I can see hooded crows gathered around pecking at her.

Is there anyone I should tell? I haven't lived here long so I don't know who owns the land. Should I just leave it and assume the farmer will find out for himself sooner or later?

Maybe enquire with a neighbour as to who owns the land. I know that if I was the sheep owner, i'd be grateful if someone informed be that one had died. At the end of the day, even the most responsible farmer will lose an animal now and again.
