Any offers on 1ltr spirits at the moment? ie. Tesco/Dunnes, or even local offies?

Cointreau is triple sec isn't it? You can get that pretty much anywhere

You're right, I didn't know. I'm not sure but isn't that stuff expensive? Triple Sec should be cheap as it is a low alcohol liquer. Anyhow, if I'm stuck I know it's there.

triple sec is not low volume liquor,its 38% volume so expect to pay around 30.

Yes, it is a triple sec, there are loads of brands, some here are talking like there is only 1, like its a proper brand name, I presume they are talking about Bols. So you can get cheaper low % versions out there.

Some might have other names for triple secs, like just orange liquer, which could well be just oranges, rather than the peels with triple secs are. Could be called curacao too.

Any particular reason you want 1 litre bottles. The 700ml versions are often cheaper per 100ml, just like family tins of beans are usually more expensive per 100g. Smirnoff litres are usually a good bit more per 100ml if neither is on offer.

Current tesco spirit offers, Wyborowa for €15 is good.
