O'Connell Hall, O'Connell Street ?

Has anyone ever heard of O'Connell Hall on O'Connell Street.
Came across it in relation to the area around Carlton Cinema.

It is believed the ornate Victorian assembly hall featuring gilded capitals was built by either the Irish Farmers Club or the Catholic Commercial Club somewhere between 1860 and 1880

It seems to be behind 42 O'Connell Street and was incorporated into the Royal Dublin Hotel, which has since been demolished. Presumably the hall is still back there.
