Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

combat sambo

    i've been training no-gi bjj for around 8 months now and loving it. i train a little mma also.
    was thinking of cross training in sambo but don't like the fact that they use the gi.
    are gi chokes etc a big part of sambo?
    would sambo be beneficial for mma?

    I think that gi chokes are illegal in Sambo and I doubt they're possible to do with gloves and headgear on in combat Sambo

    your right when you say that chokes are illegal in sports sambo, they are in combat sambo and can be done with gloves on..
